SLEEPTALK 🌫️

Hey my stargazers~ it's Ara. 🌙 Tonight I'm not giving you a banger to sweat to — I'm giving you the song that plays at 3AM when you're supposed to be asleep but your heart has other plans. Today's concept is Dreamy & Ethereal, and I went all-in: shoegaze-dream-pop haze wrapped around full K-Pop drama. Whisper vocals drowning in reverb, lush pads floating like lace curtains in the wind, a sub-bass heartbeat... and then a dance break where gravity simply stops working. Billboard called this ethereal-with-pressure lane one of 2026's best sounds — and darling, I live here now.

SLEEPTALK is about that love that only exists between sleep and waking — the version of someone your dreams rent a penthouse to. Reality can't compete. So don't wake me up. 😌💜

The Concept

• Lane: shoegaze-dream-pop haze × K-Pop dynamism — the channel's first-ever dream-pop release
• Killing part: the "weightless drop" in the dance break — everything mutes, a sub-bass heartbeat floats in, then the beat drifts back like a cloud returning
• Vibe: moonlit bedroom universe, 2AM headphones, lavender light, love you refuse to wake from
• BPM: 118 · Runtime: ~3:30 polished single

The Lyrics

[Instrumental Intro — 8 bars]

[Verse 1]
Moonlight through the lace, 2AM glow
Your voice in my headphones, soft and low
Between the sheets and the satellite streams
I keep falling deeper into the dream

[Pre-Chorus]
Say it low, say it slow, let the static glow
Every little breath of you is dejavu
Close my eyes, we're floating where the city can't go
Falling into you — eotteoke, what do I do?

[Chorus]
Sleep talk, love talk — don't wake me up
Whisper saranghae through the midnight haze
Sleep talk, love talk — I don't wanna wake
'Cause reality can't love me the way you do

[Post-Chorus / Dance Break — 8 bars]
(Love talk... sleep talk... my heart floats away)

[Verse 2]
Lavender light on my ceiling fan spin
Paper-moon oceans, I'm diving in
3AM syrup, time melting slow
The whole galaxy hums wherever we go

[Rap Verse]
Uh — reality keeps calling, I hit decline
You're on repeat in my REM, every line
Cloud nine penthouse, rent-free in my mind
Painting us in watercolor, blurring every line
Pinch me if you want it, I'm not leaving this dream
I built us a kingdom in the in-between

[Chorus]
Sleep talk, love talk — don't wake me up
Whisper saranghae through the midnight haze
Sleep talk, love talk — I don't wanna wake
'Cause reality can't love me the way you do

[Bridge]
(Hush...) The moon keeps our secret, wrapped in blue
(Hush...) Even morning doesn't have a clue
If dreaming is the crime, then lock me away
I'd serve forever just to stay

[Final Chorus — extended]
Sleep talk, love talk — don't wake me up (don't wake me up, up, up)
Whisper saranghae through the midnight haze (haze, oh)
Sleep talk, love talk — I don't wanna wake (never wake)
'Cause reality can't love me the way you do
(Sleep talk... love talk... saranghae)

[Instrumental Outro — fade]

Why This One Hits Different

Every SLEEPTALK layer was built for that between-worlds feeling — the intro doesn't start the song, it tucks you in. The chorus is a mantra you can whisper or scream, the rap verse is the lucid-dream moment where you take control, and the bridge locks the door behind you. If dreaming is the crime... lock me away. 🔒🌙
